Velocity Mobile , a nine month old collaboration between one of the world’s largest notebook computer manufacturers and a team of veteran wireless designers and engineers, have announced the retail availability of their first touchscreen phone, the Velocity 103. The company's belief is that the simplest solution is often the best solution and have thus tried with this handset to combine an easy-to-use Odyssey Interface, Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone operating system and their Velocity Over The Air updates. The outcome is a sleek but rather similar-to-HTC form factor. "Consumers these days are demanding more from their phones.
